This is portrait of the singer/songwriter, Van Morrison. It was done by Erika Simmons as part of a body of work titled "Ghost in the Machine". What sets these works apart from other works is that the main medium used is cassette tapes. This particular work uses articles and interviews about Morrison for the background. Morrison, in my opinion is a talented artist and after examining this body of work, I would consider Simmons a notable and unique artist as well.
