Small Forest by Cezanne

The painting I chose was Small Forest by Paul Cezanne. It was made in 1890 and is an oil on canvas. The reason I liked this photo was because the only part of this painting that is clear is the tree in the middle. Other than that the colors of the trees and the grass fade into eachother. The use of color, such as the different shades of green and yellow make the painting pop. You can even see where one part has a ditch. You can also see the shadow from the trees on the grass.
