Conversion of Saint Paul, Caravaggio

I chose to talk about this painting because while I was flipping through the book it made me do a double take. At first I didn't notice the man underneath the horse, but then when I did it really caught my eye. The painting emits a very claustrophobic feeling because it's very narrow and small. The book stated that the main fell to the ground when he heard Christ's voice; he was stunned and was dazzled by the horse above him.
