This 1929
Russian Constructivist movie poster "The Man with the Movie Camera"
is very interesting. This poster is a lithograph. Lithography is a method of printing from
a plane surface (such as a smooth stone or metal plate) on which
the image to be printed is ink-receptive and the blank area ink-repellent; the
ink will only stick to the design that will be printed. The dizzying effect is
created through a one-point perspective and the vortex of type! Your
eyes are drawn right through the middle, which fascinates me. I also enjoy all
the bright colors of the surrounding buildings along with the black and white
in the background and in the woman.
