I chose to do Alexander Von Wagner's Chariot Race, which was completed in 1890.  It is an oil on canvas painting.  I saw this picture as a great depiction of movement.  Wagner did an excellent job capturing the movement of this "chariot race".  He created this reality to the picture and it looks as though someone took a picture of the race itself.  This painting was one of his most famous works.  If you look closely in the picture Wagner also created the loss of a wheel from the chariot during the race.  This makes a story out of the painting.
