Louise Nevelson, Black Wall

This sculpture really caught my eye because it is so unique and intricate. It really makes you think and try to interpret the meaning of the painting and what influenced it. The creativity makes it special. Nevelson collected wooden objects, positioned them, and painted them black. She spontaneously came up with the idea to place all of the assemblages into boxes. She then decided to stack them as she ran out of space. This technique created the sculpture.
