"LOVE" Robert Indiana 1966. The American pop artist's best-known painting is the word "LOVE" in uppercase letters, arranged in a square with the letter "O" tilted at 45 degrees. I chose this oil on canvas painting because there is a sculpture of this in New York City among other places. It has also been on postage stamps. I am from New York and have been to this sculpture many times.
