Edward Hopper, Night Shadows 1921

I chose this picture because it showed the most recent technique that we had learned in class.
It shows a great example of cross hatching, giving the picture depth and value. 
The artist made this picture of his friend Louis Bouche who was manager of the Belmaison Gallery, 
the artist and her are inside of a Department Store.
Also, it's nice to see a picture that represents the 1920's, she has the hair style that was popular back then.
